The Teverra team recently completed essential fieldwork at Fort Wainwright, Alaska, as part of our mission to explore geothermal energy solutions for the installation. This project focuses on the exploration, identification, and quantification of geothermal energy resources that can provide sustainable, carbon-free heating and power.
While in the field, the Teverra team, with support from subcontractors, collected critical data to better understand the geothermal potential beneath Fort Wainwright. The data collection efforts included seismic, gravity, magnetic, thermal, and geological surveys.
The data collected is vital for quantifying the geothermal energy potential, which will be instrumental in determining how best to utilize the resource and enhance energy resilience at the installation.
